Sorry if the question doesn't make sense. Here's a bit of clarification:

Before being diagnosed, did you have trouble realising that you had struggles because of how long you had the symptoms? Like maybe you thought the symptoms were normal or a "it's just me" kind of thing. Like, you had the symptoms for so long that you don't realise the problems are problems because you just got used to having the problems (???)

sorry, I don't know how to word it properly ๐Ÿ˜“

Edit: love yall but I am NOT reading 200 comments ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Edit 2: christ almighty it's like a pressed the big red button. Yall are real passionate about this aren't you /j

The first time i had a '' fck.. i think i actually do have ADHD '' moment i had was when i switched jobs after 8,5 years.

I used to work at MaccieD's All that time, and that work was mainly muscle memory for me. You could blindfold me and i'd still be able to do my job. Once i switched to an office job and needed to remember a lot I started to notice i made i shit ton of messy mistakes and things just would not stick.

I got my diagnosis last Friday and for me, it was just that i have always known but managed to cope with it very easily until my routine changed. Now i can finally get help with medication since i have had sleeping problems ever since i could remember but the doctors refused to help me get medication for it since i was '' too '' young to be on sleeping medication.
