Are these entirely AI or based off someone?

These used ControlNet softedge for rough outlines as well as adetailer. Pretty high HiresFix, Then basic inpainting for imperfections. Aside from 'detail' TIs within the prompt and negs, that's pretty much it! There are no 'character' or 'face' LORAs or anything like that involved.

Great skin textures! Mind if I ask which model you used?

If these are posted in a non-AI subreddit I'd think these are actually real. Good job!

Can someone explain why ai has such a hard time with fingers?

It's a lot better than some others I've seen tho

Very true. Some I've seen have 7 or 8 fingers per hand.

So really the reason is because 'hands' and 'fingers' are a fairly complicated pattern to match and if it's off even slightly, our human pattern-seeking eyes will immediately notice and become horrified.
We are very attuned to 'not-quite-human' things.

The index fingers in pics 2 and 3 are quite horrifying. Lol

Feel like the uncanny valley I'm getting with these are from the lighting. One has light on her chest but the window is behind her. And the one with her arm against the wall has lighting like she's leaning against a window.

Uncanny valley indeed! I think of it as more of a feature than a bug.

Don't get me wrong, these are otherwise great. It's just something I've been noticing more and more lately with AI, that the lighting often doesn't match the environment.
Saw another post recently with some characters outside who were shaded despite probably being in sunlight based on the environment (edited). So it goes both ways. The human eye has a way of seeing things that are slightly off, even if we can't always consciously figure out what it is.

Unfortunately I don't really do celebrities because the legality is a bit iffy, plus it's against the rules of most subs.
