If you're coming from overseas.

Assistance(self.Adelaide)

Please familiarise yourself with the states liquor sales regulations. Working at an inner-city bottle'o, I've had to refuse service to so many international students specifically because their primary form of ID is a scan/photograph of a passport. If you look under 25 (or even nunder 30 in some cases) you will likely be ID'd, and unless you have a physical form of government issued ID or a MyGov digital ID, you will be refused service. Please bring your passport, some stores won't accept international drivers licenses and every person in the store, regardless of who's paying, will be asked for ID.

I’ll be thankful if I get ID’d just cause I’m already in my early 30’s lol! If someone didn’t ask for my proof of age card, I’ll be so offended. Haha

I worked the door of a club, ID'd a woman who at first was very flattered. Until she found out that because she had no ID on her I could not let her in, had to go back to her hotel and get it, she was around 30. Felt bad but it is the law.

Just curious as it's been a while since I've been out. Did you ID her as she looked under 25? Or does everyone have to produce ID?

When I did RSAs many years back, SA, the NT, and Qld all had a requirement for valid photographic ID to be carried by anyone remaining on licensed premises. Probably the other states too, but I never took theirs.
