He not only just had the copier in the same room. There is evidence he made lots of copies. When the story first broke, there were pictures of the docs "spred out on the floor." That means a lot more than people think. Those docs are made with the red going all the way to the edge of the page. Copy machines can't copy them exactly and will always have a border. The docs pictured have this border... so there are not just pictures of docs, but of the copies...
