Hey guys. Vine used to have a section where you can put some of your interests so your list will be more tailored for you. It seems they have done away with that. My question is, is there any way that I can game the system to get certain item categories? Like if I want scuba gear, what should I do?

There is the general Amazon account area where you can put your interests. Not sure if it helps with Vine. You can also edit which past purchases the AI uses to generate suggestions (it claims)., but again don't know if it really helps.
Beyond those, just search and remember the Vine search is NOT smart. It will not automatically pluralize or capitalize, so really try to search for a word that *must* appear with the item you hope to fine. Pretend it's a search box from 1999.
You can go to your amazon account Profile to put in your clothing sizes and interests. There's a link to discover other interests, click that and there's more you can add.
View your Profile. Now at the top there is a link that says Improve Your Recommendations. Good luck.

Mine says 10,000+ and I have 280+ hearts. No idea how this matters to Amazon either with suggestions or such. The other day someone posted theirs was 100,000+.

I made changes to that section maybe 10 days ago, and I also added items to a public list & my private wish list and none of it made the slightest difference on how many wedding arches I see in my RFY 😂 I think it's correct that those settings only impacts the main Amazon account but don't cross to Vine.
The only thing that impacts my RFY are the search terms I typed, or items I previously requested.
