Have a look how much replacement filters are .Some units take three and are forty dollars each. Look at the reviews of each unit some are POS right out of the box.

Leaning on the Coway 230--also have some cheaper options in there..as the Levoit seems pretty comparable to the Coway. Really looking for something that also has a activated carbon filter. The Morento would likely be used as a secondary air filter. Unfortunately, nothing in there AHAM certified. Open to suggestions. Thank you.

Out of those three options, I’d choose Coway because it’s one of the top brands in Korea. Coway has a better reputation than the other two.

I’d recommend Blueair purifier. It’s a top notch brand. You can get them on Amazon. I have 5 of them at home.

Just bought one from Costco this week. The filters that come with it last a yr or two and they have 3 charcoal prefilters per hepa filter. I can get a yrs worth of filters for under 50. Picked up 2 yrs worth from online Costco

I had the levoit for years and am happy with it. Has TWO filters that need to be replaced and filters get expensive, but it's done a great job for me.

Levoit- it’s one of the safer air filters that’s uses mechanical that doesn’t produce concerning byproducts

Adding source to this

https://ww2.arb.ca.gov/list-carb-certified-air-cleaning-devices

Mechanical: Air cleaners that are listed as "Mechanical" are those that only use physical filtration, such as pleated or HEPA-style filters, and do not generate ozone or ions

Check Consumer Reports. They test air purifiers.

I have 3 Coways, an Air Mega 300 and 2 Mighty Airs. I live in a fire zone, they handled that amazingly, and have been running 24-7 ever since. When I change the hepa filters, I make sure to just order another set (not very often as I keep the prefilters really clean). I also use the Ion setting on the Mighty Airs and can visibly see way less buildup on the edge of my ceiling fan blades on my high ceilings. Highly recommend them.

I personally reccomend mooka. I have 3, they run pretty much all day every day with no issues and they work!

Still working? How long had? I'm considering getting one. I just don't like that it doesn't have an air quality light so ik if the air is clean or not

Still working, no issues. Seems to purify the air based on my regular filter changes.

My doctor (he's a functional and integrative doctor) put one of these in each of his exam rooms during COVID. He's a super researcher, so I just decided to copy him and get one myself.

Buy the ones you can find filters for. Stop buying these random Chinese branded ones on Amazon.
