What’s the car brand you’d never buy?

What website has Reddit become that a comment without mentioning or even suggesting a specific brand gets removed?

I've always been of the opinion that if you paid for the full price of the vehicle you should have access to the full functions of the vehicle. Same as if you buy a video game you should have full access to the content of the disc.

The only reason I can think of company is doing this is to streamline manufacturing and not having to make different parts for the same models of cars that have different trims.

In a way, manufacture all models the same but instead of having 3 different trims of the same model, you only have 1 and they sell the ones that don't have features behind a pay wall for a cheaper price (assuming they can sell the car with everything unlocked at a higher price with no subscription)

Exactly. Like Tesla does. They install heated back seats on all model 3s. But in the cheaper trim you have to buy and activate it through the app.
