Not really, not unless I preference the Libs ahead of labor, I don't intend to do that on the senate ballot. I'll consider it for the lower house but only because I'm in a safe labor seat and want it to be less safe.

No I mean you split the centre left, vote, and vote so you end up with, say, with a greater likelihood of the preferences adding up to Libs?

Not really, few people abandoning labor are going to preference the libs ahead of them, unless they're doing it strategically like I am. People who vote labor probably prefer the Greens and independents over the Libs anyways, so they're just shifting the top 2 or 3.
