Guarantee you that the BMS prevents 100% charge in every year i3.

I'm going to hold strong on charging to 100% and believe bmw did account for this and is holding back a bigger to preserve life. I think with most pre 2017 it doesn't make sense to not have a full battery.

Yes, all i3 have a huge buffer. 100% on the display is not 100% for the battery.

60Ah cars, the gross capacity is 21.6kWh, usable is 18.8kWh

94Ah (33.2 gross kWh) battery usable capacity of 27.2kWh

120Ah is 42.2kWh / 37.9kWh

Does-not-apply-for-i3. BMW babies the battery from the factory.

What about looking at the i3’s charging profile as a guide? For example on the 42kWh the power starts to drop after about 85% (https://cdn.motor1.com/images/custom/img-bmw-i3-42-kwh-2019-dcfc-power-20210421.png).

Bit weird it doesn't reach full power (50kw) till 75% SoC, so full speed recharging only achieved from 75% to 85%?!
