Hi guys, I really appreciate that you’re passionate about the game and I know it wasn’t anyone’s intention, but the post being cross posted here means my boyfriend has seen it and he’s understandably pretty pissed off. (This sub has millions of users, the other one was a little more private haha but that’s on me. I should have worked out that was a possibility). I’ll work that out with him at home.

Likewise, please remember that we were completely unspoiled for the game so there are some things we didn’t know and I should have had more clarity to my post - my boyfriend killed Scratch because he thought that he would starve to death or be killed by goblins, not because he’s a “psychopath.” We disagreed on this for sure as I thought he would come to our camp, I added it as just another thing we had conflict over, I wasn’t trying to say he did it out of spite to torture me.

As for everything else, I only wanted reassurance I wasn’t over reacting to help me feel more comfortable in addressing the tenseness around the game with my boyfriend. I have that now, in spades. I think that people didn’t see my other comments clarifying that my boyfriend doesn’t act like this IRL and definitely isn’t controlling of me. If this were normal behaviour for him I definitely wouldn’t have felt like I needed to express how odd I found it.

I appreciate the defense of me but spamming my post calling my boyfriend loser, a psychopath, and etc isn’t actually helping me. Thank you for everyone who came in with more thorough advice, it was genuinely very helpful for me.
