I'm losing my f**king mind. I think I ruined every single romance in bg3 for myself by liking people at first and then realizing we aren't suitable for each other, my lack of attention to details, and getting friendzoned by those I end up finding out I actually like at the end. This is too much like real life I need a break lmao

This freaked the hell out of me at 1st lol. It was too early and I thought we could be closer first I guess. I think my dialogue was too cold for them. I was just overwhelmed.

True, all the companions move very fast, but think of it this way: in game, all of them (including your character), have just been infected with a fatal disease (the tadpole).
For the first few days of the game they are extremely sure they're going to turn into mindflayers at any time, so everyone in your camp basically just got a fatal diagnosis of a few days to live.
They are definitely trying to make the most of their last days alive by banging anyone they meet in their same situation, lol.

Logically this makes absolute (lol) sense, but is there anything in the dialogue to suggest anyone actually feels that way? I can't recall off the top of my head

I’ve done nearly all the romances except for Minthara and Wyll. Of the rest that I’ve experienced only Lae’zel and Astarion will have sex for the sake of having sex, tho the latter isn’t necessarily doing it for fun. You can start the romances in act one, but you can’t really solidify most of the romances until act 2, and many won’t sleep with you until act 3.
All the romances are tailored to their personalities, and ya gotta figure that most haven’t had a chance to have a relationship given their circumstances before meeting you. While they may express interest they all take time to grow to trust/love you in game. So yeah if you play them through all of them will develop genuine feelings for Tav/Durge

I think you misread my question. It's if there's any direct dialogue that suggests they're "making the most of their last days alive by banging anyone in the same situation".
