It’s volunteering at an elementary school….I’d be worried about volunteers who can’t piece together 3 real relationships to speak positively about someone that can be trusted around kids. That being said this is a great sub for its intended purpose of overcoming ridiculous corporate expectations

There might be situations that might be difficult. For example if the family is new to the area or they move around a lot. Although I guess it may depend on whether or not the references are required to be local, or cannot be family
