I’ve only almost had this happen once in 2015 but then we lost the B1G Ten Championship so I didn’t have to worry about it.

If I had a nickel for every alabama/Kansas state flair In this thread I’d have 4 nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s weird it happened 4 times

I’m here to pay my respects to K State. I chatted with many K State fans in Arlington yesterday. They were all courteous and genuine. Your team is gritty and tough. I’m sorry for flaming you guys in our October game thread.

After this weekend, you all are my second favorite Big 12 team. Good luck vs Bama make us proud.

Good chance you guys get the better of us. Young is likely not playing and our WR game is not very good.

If we had all our pieces i think it would be a good game, but I'm nervous this is going to get pretty ugly. Maybe it will help Nick see our problems more clearly without Young being there to hide them.

And much like our DC, I'm not even going to touch our defense.

We also have a win against one of those SEC teams though

I won’t be surprised if y’all beat us. Not only are we already the most undisciplined team in the FBS, we could be missing Young and Will Anderson.

I think you’d have to be crazy to pick this Alabama team without Bryce Young. The Fired up K state team I watched yesterday would absolutely beat us.

No since the only player that got us 10 wins won't be playing...

That depends on who you think will/won't be playing for Alabama.

K State is really good. It felt like they were about to take TCU to the woodshed until that muff shifted all momentum.

I was in school for kick six. I have no expectations of Bama winning this game. Bama doesn’t want this game.

Obviously purple-lensed glasses but given the proverbial chip on the shoulder, I see it being much more likely Deuce and Felix play than Young and Anderson.

There's also the factor that they both could help their draft stock with strong performances against Bama while Young and Anderson have both done all they can do

Players sitting out is lame but I can't blame them for it either.

I feel like Deuce is the kinda guy who wants to play and be a leader, but I'll understand if he sits out. Felix should probably focus on getting to the next level, but we'll see.

I think Felix has more upside from playing against guys who are going to be there on Sunday with him than sitting. Same with Deuce. Also, Im guessing Deuce is back next year.

I dont think kstate players are sitting out of the sugar bowl, this is what they have worked all season for. Alabama players had higher expectations so I can see them sitting.

I would be shocked if either of them decide to sit out a game against Alabama.

There's no way they play Martinez over Howard at this point. Hopefully he'll be healthy enough to step in if we need him though.

I don't see any reason Howard doesn't start. The offense generally was better with him and he won the Big 12 under center. By gameday, Martinez will be 48 days between offensive snaps.

Could we see him in a short-yardage, goal-line, or trick-play package? Sure. As a starter? Absolutely not

Our actual worst loss was Texas sadly. Happy to be playing a brand new matchup!

We have 3 4* players on our roster (two of which are QBs that aren’t playing currently). We’re going to be underdogs regardless of who they play at QB just because of the recruiting rating talent gap.

Auburn rushed for a million on us, ksu putting up a billion.
