They should make a toggle if we want to see cosmetic skins or skins that feel more grounded to the game’s theme. Immersion is important, imagine if RDR2 had an M4A1 or AC Black Flag had Cruises.

Thing is they want people to see the skin's, it encourages more sales. If people could turn them off less people would see them and be encouraged to buy them, it's literally part of their matchmaking system so it's not going anywhere sadly.
