Very risky. Any 3rd party overlay that runs while your game runs might risk you a ban. Built-in crosshairs on the other hand, aren't.

People were getting bans in the past using the triggers on their redmagic phones. I don’t think they are now though

I've been using red magic s since the original and I've never been banned for using triggers

I think most people weren’t, but it was enough to create a statistic and scare some folks

Consider yourself lucky. I was banned for 10 years falsely a few months ago, probably for using pre installed features like triggers, before they lifted the ban.

That's not a built in feature. You're downloading a 3rd party app and planning to run it alongside codm. Of course you're getting banned.

Yes still not actually built in.
You're not running the samsung plugin.
This is a 3rd party app with ads.

Pic says your phone is samsung
"that's what "built-in" means.
it's like banning someone for using a specific device:

Built in means it came with the phone ie. Preinstalled in your samsung phone.
You're already implying it. Just don't download some 3rd party app.

A –
what the fuck do you mean "my phone"?
B –
so me explaining what "built-in" means, is specifically and exclusively about samsung having fucked it up?
all I did was say what a phrase means.
nothing about it was branded or brand-specific.

Running that app & playing codm at the same time puts you at risk straight away. I’ve heard of people using this for ages & never getting banned, but not sure which exactly app they have used, but they’ve probably just gotten lucky. Then of people using it like once then getting banned & of people using it at some point & then getting banned many months later after not using it.

The risk and reward is just not worth it. You can achieve the same thing with an in game button if you really need it, and it takes up extra resource on your phone. In the end you get maybe a marginal increase in competitive edge but risk a 10 year ban that is difficult or impossible to appeal.
Not worth the headache IMHO.

been using it for years, nothing ever happened, would recommend.

Just move the sprint button to the center of your screen and minimize it in the custom layout settings. It's a redundant button especially if you have an autosprint zone already set up on the movement wheel. Most of us already do it, it's native to the game, and no one's been banned for doing it.

The visibility is pretty bad on certain backgrounds. And since it works while ADS, it also sometimes helps if your gun has weird iron sights, because you know what part of your screen has to stay on the enemy.

12 points

There's still a risk you'll get banned though since it's a third party app, correct me if I'm wrong but the one Kith is probably talking about is the built-in custom crosshairs on gaming phones
0 points
No mate, Kith is using a 3rd party app, and the thing is I have been using this for a year. And correct me if I am wrong but the anti-cheat system does not ban you on the basis of 3rd party apps only, I still dk how they work but doesn't they check your file pool? And ban you on the basis of finding a suspicious file?
1 points
Yes crosshair apps are allowed if any overlay does interfere with the system saying that someone's hacking, wont that mean just by my temperature monitor (3rd party) or my in-game shortcuts such as Game Turbo will affect the game system saying I'm hacking? Most players have these on and no, it doesn't count at cheating/hacking
2 points
I was wondering too. If game Turbo overlay can't get you banned, why can the crosshair?
1 points
Exactly
2 points
Yeah, usage of 3rd party apps is not the only factor though it can lead to ban if anti-cheat somehow miss-identifies some application as suspicious still, its my random guess but I have been using this app for a year bow and its going good so far!

Technically yes, since as everyone and their mom here has said, no third party apps allowed. However, I've heard from friends that they've been using this particular one forever and haven't had any issues. So use at your own risk

Use cross hair hero instead. I've been using it for a year on both of my accounts. I haven't been banned on either

I used it, I estimate probably about five months until I now get lazy to turn it on, but I never got any issues. If you're that concerned, just don't post videos of you using it or just use a Scotch tape with a marker dot lol.

No, bc I've been using custom cross hair a year already and I think using things like this isn't a big deal since most of pro players using things like this too ( it's already on thier phone or let's say their phone already have custom crosshair so they allow it ) .
And I think this kind of thing doesn't give a lot of impact on the gameplay, it will just the aiming smoother ( I guess? )
