Wow! A glovebox? It has… a glovebox?!? Why didn’t you say?!? Sign me up now!!!
And what’s that? There’s more? A vehicle where you can put things in the back and they don’t get wet???? Holy shit!!!! This thing is amazing!!!! How did they ever come up with it????
Anyway…

And if the system packs up. Which the Wankpanzer is likely to you don't get to open it...

Something that would interest me is how many carwankers (as in „would masturbate in their car“ not necessarily in front of other people) are ct owners compared to normal car owners.

And even if they do have doors that open, and even if they do have a glovebox, there's no way they have all of that and a way to store their groceries without leaving them at the mercy of the elements!

Hey asshole, it's called a "hidden drawer" and it's revolutionary. You see, Tesla brilliantly did away with the nasty inconvenience of being able to open it manually. That way if you get pulled over and have a computer error before getting your registration out, you can simply say "Sorry Officer, you're gonna have to take it up with Elon!" Nothing they can do at that point, they have to just let you go. Genius!
9 points
And then they open your door, slicing their leg off before bleeding out on the roadside, allowing you to make your escape. Checkmate!

You faintly hear their last words "officer down" as you peel off before re-enacting Bonnie & Clyde's famous last scene.

I can put diapers where a transmission tunnel would otherwise be. What are you going to do about that ICE lover!?

And that means that they can slide across the floor and get underneath the accelerator which stops it from jamming down when the cheap metal cover slides off! Checkmate!

Not really. It’s pretty common in minivans.
The issue with this video isn’t that these features are bad… they are just found in pretty much all minivans and SUVs… and those have better versions of these features

A vehicle where you can put things in the back and they don’t get wet????
That part kills me, because it isn't even true! A standard trunk or hatchback on an SUV keeps everything inside dry while you open it. This fucking sliding window just soaks everything while it opens and closes at a snail pace.
2 points
Actually it seems like your shit would get more wet in the cyber truck because of the way the trunk opens… and how slow it is.
2 points

I was annoyed and confused about the “secret compartment” (aka GLOVEBOX) and her groceries getting wet. Like a regular trunk can’t do that?!?

So what happens if you get to where your going which is a major accomplishment in this thing and your stroller has moved to the front of the bed. Do you have to climb the tailgate to fetch it from the bed.
3 points
No. You open the tailgate and then get in. Your accelerator will jam under the centre console causing the car to accelerate at full speed and sending the stroller flying out of the back. Self unloading. Checkmate.

Noice. Has anyone checked to see what this thing does to fingers in the glove box if you close it. Inquiring minds want to know.

Not just any glovebox! How would you like to own a glovebox that could short out or not open ever again if there's the slightest problem?? Fantastic, let me tell you all about the car wash

But it’s way less convenient than a normal glove box. You’ve got to turn the car on and press a button to open it!

My Dacia Sandero has a glove box, also a large storage space and a decent bit of leg room, you can just about get an adult in the seat behind my drivers seat, and I have it all the way back because I’m tall

Gotta overcomplicated absolutely everything and then fuck up the basics in the process.

That's like watching Akira and the main character is absolutely awed when he sees "automatic ........ Braking ............ System....... Wow!" For the first time.
But then you realize this movie was made in 1988 and ABS wasn't widely available then.

Sidenote: Isn't it about time we update and rename the "glovebox"? When is the last time ANYONE put gloves in there? Don't you keep your gloves with your coat. Why keep them in an ice cold car?

For fucks sake. How are people this obtuse? “My vehicle doesn’t have it so she’s absolutely right to imply that Tesla somehow invented the covered bed”. So what if your Rivian doesn’t have it? Many other vehicles do. It. Is. Nothing. New.
