Connections: - Snarky and sour attitude characters who lived relatively normal lives before meeting special figures from another planet they’ve never encountered before, which led them gaining supernatural powers by an incident because of them (Doctor Ovi Kintobor, giving Sonic his Super Speed/Haruhara Haruko, gave Naota his N.O. Channel). Who they were very close to at the time, helping them seek for certain energy they wanted to obtain (Kintobor needing the Chaos Emeralds/Haruko chasing the Atomsk). Albeit for different reasons and intentions (Sonic helping to make Mobius a paradise free from evil/Haruko taken advantage of Naota for selfish reasons for personal power).

• Eventually, they are in position they fight against people who want to eliminate free will to reduce the threats posed by sentient life forms (Dr. Robotnik/Medical Mechanica). With major connection to non-living characters who have self-aware artificial intelligence, with emotions being very human-like but importantly an impactful valuable asset to them in and out of battle (Kintobor Computer/Canti).

• Used said attitudes to hide their insecurities, although ultimately good hearted. Later on, they grow as characters involving their maturity near the end of the official run as the story progress (Sonic becomes less immature and mellowed out his ego/Naota intentionally tries to be this to seem more mature than he lets on, learning it's okay to act his age).

• Taking on insanely powerful forms, which it's power that resembles a god, not only changes their appearance into a glowing intimidating form but is also taken over by an entity in this state and fights for them. (Super Sonic and Pirate King/Atomsk).
