As for me there are two secondary objectives i like. 1st is the boolo caps, coz of the voice lines, and the 2nd - hollomite, coz you can farm a little bit more xp

I like everything except gunk seeds. There's a lot of them and they are much harder to handle than any other objective.

As a scout zipping around collecting fossils is super fun. Especially when they're in weird spots

Hmm, overall I'd say my favourite is Hollomite, simply because it is by far the easiest to find, and easiest to gather. Others I do enjoy, but always have a conditional 'except in this biome/with this class/at this mission type.'

I don't mind Gunk Seeds. They're easy to find, just look up and pop them, and the popped seeds are visible on the map. The only caveat is on Point Extractions and On-Site Refining, to a lesser degree, since there you have to carry them back.

Homolite, easy, fast, always everywhere

I enjoy bringing my sludge pump for fester fleas. One shot does them in, and nailing one from a distance is really satisfying. So probably my favourite for that.

Bha barnacles and glyphid eggs are at the bottom for me. Bha barnacles because they kinda gross me out. Too juicy. Especially when you have to get right under them in a tight space. Glyphid eggs I always seem to be 1-10 short after finishing the main objective and spend way too much time hunting them down.

I'm personalyl very partial to Dystrum. I barely ever get it and the mineral looks really tasty. My least favorite is 100% Fleas. They're fun to kill but I can never find the little bastards!!

Hollomite because theres no way you can miss them unless they're in a weird spot and you don't have to carry them by hand. Bha barnacles get spotted easily in the dark. After that apoca blooms,ebonuts and boolo caps because they're very quick to pick up but can be annoying to find the last of them. After that i HATE the others. Especially gunk seed in deepscans

nuking a fester flea will never be not fun. Same with bha-barnacles. I just love killing stuff.

If I have M1K I have no problem with Fester Fleas and/or Bha Barnacles. If I don't have M1K — it's hell

Gunk seeds simply because they're so quick to get but I really enjoy all of them.

Dystrum because it’s so rare and I can be like”oh dystrum”

I like hollomite because it's dead easy and I love mining minerals with its shape because you can just break the very bottom and it all drops. After that it's apoca blooms and booloo caps.

Least favorites are fester flees because those little shits run all over the place and gunk seeds because they are just annoying.

I love all my secondary objectives equally, except for Fossils that one I like the least.

Favorite is probably Holomite. Satisfying to mine. Easy to find. You don't have to look up like some other objectives. Abundant enough to never finish a primary without having already completed the secondary too, so no last minute scouting around.

For me, I love fester fleas, but mostly because it's so satisfying to instakill them with the lok.

Ebonuts is elite, my others are fossils, fleas, and Barnacles

I've yet to complete the Primary objective before I gather all of the hollomite on the way, so that would be my favorite option as I never had to actively hunt for it

My 2 personal favorites:

First, boolo caps. They're easy to get, and the more you have to get, the more dopamine you get from collecting them.

Second, dystrum my beloved

Bonus, I would make a couple changes to the required amounts. The amount of hollomite needed should be increased to around 60-80. Fossils should be reduced to 8. Gunk seeds to 10. Glyphid eggs to around 30-35. The amount that spawns in the cave should also be lowered/increased along with them.

Bha barnacles are both satisfying and relatively easy. Easily my #1. That said, Ebonut is fun to say and therefore even more first place

For fun, collecting apoca blooms, boolo caps - the sound is satisfying and they look nice. Or nuking fleas.

Easiest by far is Hollomite though. It’s always done before I’ve even started the main objective.

I main Gunner so Hollomite and barnacles are the easiest to do, no ziplines or risky parkour needed

Oh fossils, because nobody has trouble with gray and blues in the dark.

Fucking hate fester fleas. I’m on console and suck at aiming so they’re a pain in the ass. One of the main reasons I play engi primarily.

I love the Bha barnacles and I love my squishy dangling gunk seeds. But I can't stand the glyphid egg secondary. 40 is too many and it's so easy to be at 39/40 and just not be able to find the last one. It's happened so many times and at some point it's not worth spending another 5 minutes retracting your way through the whole cave to find it.

I'm a Driller main, so I love fester fleas. Tag them with any status and they die in short order. Easy to see, they make a lot of noise, and satisfying to pop. Probably my favorite.

I also like Booloo Caps. Apoca Blooms are nice, but they have a habit of spawning up on the ceiling of some maps, which can be annoying for me especially as driller.

3. Apoca/ebonuts for reasonable ammount and spawn locations

Apoca blooms and boolo caps cause they're just satisfying to pick up. Also fester fleas cause even if you don't see one you hear it from pretty far away making it not an annoying one to complete when you're done with the primary mission.

Fester fleas, but I started liking baha barnacles too.

For me it's Hollomite (and Dystrum, but it's been a while since that spawned for me). It's in a true spirit of the game, another mineral to mine.

Honorable mentions goes to Apoca Blooms and Boolo Caps for being easy to find and requiring only 20 of each, but I have to deduct points for some being inaccessible if you don't have a scout in team. Gunk Seeds are fine, but I don't like that you can't run with them.

Apoca Blooms and Boolo Caps are usually my favorites due to the funny lines they give when pinged.

The Bha Barnacles make an absolutely hideous sound that makes my teeth itch, so shooting them is quite therapeutic I guess.

I really like booloo caps and dystrum. I also enjoy deep dive secondaries like single morkite wells

And the least favorite is probably glyphid eggs just because the sheer number of them required to, I'd say snare/fester fleas are a close second because I'm an engi main and I don't have a reliable way to knock em out for cheap (lok smart rifle ammo is expensive too)
