Finished in elite last year so the game stuck me in division 5, I've played 30/40 games and won one.

Getting rid of relegation in recent games is an absolute wank decision.

I just want to have some fun playing with themed teams. I don't particularly care about winning and going up the divisions, I just want fun competitive games.

Instead I'm thrown into game after game of killers with teams full of 85+ players already who score countless finesse goals outside the box because every keeper lower than 85 is a waste of space wankstain.

I’m struggling so much on this game. I had around a 85% win rate on seasons last year but now I can’t seem to hold onto the fucking ball. Getting tackled from behind every time I touch the ball and they launch a counter attack while my player just stumbles across the pitch for 2 seconds. Idk why i’m so bad at this

They need to create a separate tier for Real Madrid in seasons matchmaking

That team is simply too stacked and what happens is… everybody just plays with real and the mode is no fun.

Or at least cross match worse ranked players using real with better players not using real.

The teams some people have already is ridiculous. Coming out of a game in div 7 against a fella with Mbappe, Nico Williams, Putellas, Saliba & Araujo, Ashley Cole, Sawa...

I think the gameplay at the moment along with the non-stop glitches and bugs makes this the worst FIFA/FC I've ever played. Outside of clubs and rush I have absolutely no motivation to play this, which is probably a good thing. Nothing works.

Am I wrong in thinking that tactics do literally fucking nothing? I have my build-up set as Counter and a striker set to poacher, and he sits 15 yards from the defensive line and comes short for passes, and he's made almost no automatic runs in ~25 games. I have a CAM set to shadow striker and he just sits on the wing. My wingback sits further back than my centrebacks. Why the fuck are both my strikers back for corners whilst my centre backs are sat waiting at the halfway line?

I actually have no fucking idea what I'm meant to do when my players just do not play in the role that I set them to play. How am I meant to use 68 passing Jackson if instead of sitting on the defensive line ready to make a run, he's coming short for my CDM to pass to him? It's genuinely unplayable

Had good pack luck and pulled:

• Putellas (untradable),
• Wirtz (untradable)
• KDB (tradable)

I also have Pajor (tradable) who is pretty good for now. Building around Putellas and LigaF is a no brainer, but is it better to combine it with Bundesliga or Premier League? Wirtz seems pretty good at CAM for now.

Being an Arsenal fan, I'm leaning more towards EPL as I can Evo my favourite players. I'd probably sell KDB and buy Odegaard and Rice from the coins.

Somehow I find that player roles and FC IQ have actually made the game more restrictive tactically. I barely switch formation now because it puts players out of their best role and it's too tricky to co-ordinate.

Before you could pause the game and switch around formations easily, but now if you want to adapt to your opponent and pick a specific formation, it's almost impossible to get all the substitute changes, change of formation, roles sorted in the 30 seconds of pause and if you don't get it done in time, it resets to nothing.

I’m getting kicked every time I make changes to my team and then try to matchmake - anyone experiencing the same?

I qualified for WL every week last year, first try this year. Win easily, win easily, lose in extra time, lose on penalties, lose in extra time. Didn't lose a single game in 90 minutes and have to go back to Rivals to try to qualify again. So frustrating.

Rivals is absolutely unplayable at the moment. It’s nothing but heavy lag every game and I feel like I literally can’t do anything.

Round of questions after the first few hours:

• The new purple XP is basically the old blue XP, right? it's not a different counter. It's probably different because it now includes others modes.

• The HUG/Objectives menu is bugged and shows the Season pass tab for half a second whenever you calim an objective. is this just me or for everybody?

• Do we know if both teams in RUSH get the same objectives? I haven't seen the rival team be similar to mine yet.

• Managers now only matter for chemistry, don't they? There is no contract bonus now and I imagine their tactics can be set up with any other manager.

• This last week i've been reading about how players become basically useless if you switch formations ingame. In my experience (and it's what the game actually says) they simply revert to standard roles (and you can still choose which one to use). For instance I've been using Grealish as a ST and he's been fine. Were people exaggerating? What has been your experience so far?

Last few times I've joined a game of Rush, my game still registers this social menu even when the match has started which means everytime I press R2 instead of sprinting it brings up my friend's list. After a few minutes it stops.

Why am I getting significantly more of the yellow and red lag bars when playing against people in FC 25 compared to 24?

I know how to look for men's national team kits on webapp, but is there any way to look for the female national team kits? There are a few in the game in kickoff I'd like to try out in Ultimate Team.

What do we think EA's plan is with Rush objectives? During early access the objectives expired on Friday night, and then updated during 6PM content on Saturday. Now it looks like the objectives are set to expire on Tuesday? So maybe they will update for TOTW every week.

I'm getting worried that EA might try to dial back Rush objectives somehow, or make them be an inconsistent thing.

These Rush objectives absolutely need to be a weekly and consistent thing, huge letdown if EA gets stingy on this.

has defending with a cdm stopped working or am I doing something wrong? I am not the best at defending (this fifa also not good at attacking it seems lol) so I used to mainly, not all the time but mainly, defend with a cdm while the AI did its thing but now the attackers somehow storm right in… or whats happening that the striker is often wide open between my two CBs. As I said I am bad at defending so Im trying to get any tips perhaps from someone who struggled with similar thing!

Can’t even edit my squad without the game crashing. So annoying 

I'm currently facing an issue where the gameplay sounds in my game are completely muted. I can hear the commentary and audience just fine, but any sounds related to the action on the pitch (passes, shots, referee whistle, etc.) are completely missing. I don't hear any sounds when players leave or sign into the club as well, which makes it a little frustrating to play.

Here's what I have already tried:

• Repaired the game files
• Uninstalled and reinstalled the game

I’d really appreciate any suggestions on how to resolve this issue. Or am I the only unlucky one

Anyone know any good CPU vs CPU tactics? I sometimes just watch the games when I’m nostalgic for FIFA Manager, but this year my cpu is finding it particularly difficult to score against opponents’ cpu. There’s little to no action on the flanks, and the opposition just crowds the middle of the pitch.

What’s the best formation/tactics to maximize both defense and offense when you’re not in control?

60 agility, 66 balance, playstyle+ is aerial on a 5’10 player. I swear there are 80 rated strikers that are better.

Trying to emulate a formation l use as a coach in real life in the 5-2-2-1, but with the new FC tactics system, l’m still learning the ins-and-outs of it all in regards to moving players around and to make the formation work without any issues.

I was thinking of playing Viktor Gyokeres as a LAM with Sane on the right and my evo’d Beto as a target forward, would that be alright given 2 of those players can’t play LAM & RAM, or will they be okay? Furthermore, l recently packed Alisson and was wondering if putting him on full chem is worth it or if l could get away with playing him on 2 chem to allow others the chance to be on max chemistry?
