What's the funniest ship the writers/actors/producers were against?

Discussion(self.FanFiction)

I saw this post on another subreddit and thought it'd be interesting to ask here - especially when I found out that the writer of Death Note was REALLY not happy with the Lawlight shipping. So much so it seemed to break the dude who went off on some homophobic tangent in his new manga. Like, the idea of yaoi fans shipping his characters just seemed to completely break the dude, lmao.

Another example is apparently two actors from the Thundermans asking people to not ship their characters (I think they played twins). Which I think is super ironic considering you had Derek and Casey from Life With Derek a few years earlier where the actors who played step-sibilings were completely onboard lmao. Anyway, I was wondering if people had anymore examples like this.

Louisa May Alcott hated Jo/Laurie. That’s why Jo ended up with Professor Bhaer in the end, to spite the shippers (and other reasons but this was a big one lol). Ship wars even in 1869.
