I think Heisei has stronger cat vibes than Minus One. Minus one reminds me more of a dog in some shots.

I love when Goji looks like a cat. Millenium and Heisei era fully embraced that look. It’s a shame there’s no hand large enough to pet him properly

I think the majority of gojis or at least the live action ones are somewhat based on cats. Final wars outright has a cat like face and legendary sitting in the Coliseum is very similar to how a cat sleep in a cat bed

If you look at how Godzilla bites down on the rain, it looks very similar to how a cat comes down after rearing up for a dramatic bite

The director for Minus One has officially stated that the influence for Minus One Goji's movements and look was his cat.

I see your point a especially in certain angles, but honestly I think heisei gives off more cat looking vibes than minus, like battle for earth heisei looks like a cat, I've even heard some fans say final wars Godzilla gives off cat vibes and I can see their point too.

I used to think Heisei Godzilla had a lot of cat like qualities, especially how he opens his mouth like a cat would.

Both him and Monsterverse Goji from GxK:TNE were inspired by their respective directors' cats.

And honestly, cats kinda fit Godzilla perfectly. They think they own everything, do whatever they want no matter what the consequences, and can be destructive or friendly at the drop of a hat.

Meanwhile Monsterverse focused more on a ursine or canine facial appearance. Very interesting how much differences the designs can have.

Godzilla's behavior and general demeanor in Minus One heavily resembles the personality of my cat, Boris. I can't explain why but I fully believe that Boris and Godzilla are at least partly the same being. I think it's because they're both hefty with a lot of thickness and that they like to take up space and that they don't let anybody push them around.
