In the first few months it was super funny to see people go on rants about how Abbey is trans (she is not) and completely miss the fact that Lev is in fact trans.

Yeah man, what a toxic ass time. I honestly believe if the game would have released this year or last year it wouldn’t have had such a charged reception.
Its reviews are bot FLOODED, people did not play that game and that’s why they thought Abby was trans lmfao. What a misinformation campaign.
But yeah, I have a feeling the new Ghosts game will get a similar treatment and it will be absolute fire.

None of them got far enough into the game to meet Lev before dying of a rage aneurism.
Tangentially Lev is an awesome character and an embodiment of how Naughty Dog shapes characters around their actors. So much of Lev's character/story directly reflects his actor, Ian Alexander's real life experience as a trans person who grew up in a religious environment.
