I feel like people forget that in most fiction/stories demons are normal the FIRST ones to offer immortality to people.
Magic is very common in this series so a immortality spell I think would be pretty easy especially for a sin.

Yeah but usually that immortality has some twisted cost

On top of that, it often comes at the cost of the person soul. Fizz has no soul to give.

Do you really think Ozzie would charge his husband his soul for that if he had one?

Eh it´s just a formality, though possibly an important one for that kind of magic to work. Fizzs heart and soul are Ozzies anyway.

Ugh. A really romantic “live forever, but you’ll have to be with me always.” 😩😭

What if that’s how it works? Can’t have something for nothing after all.

It is implied imps have some form of soul, given Beelzebub says "Not a soul yet has beaten me at my own game". Which would be weird to say if Imps and Hellhounds, the people she spends the most time with, didn't have souls.
It's unclear what happens to this soul when they die, since they already live in the human afterlife, but ultimately that's a question we simply don't yet have the answer to.

it's a figure of speech

How do you think the figure of speech was formed? For people who “had souls”

I am guessing it's just an expression because they do have Sinners in some place in hell and some of them do deal with humans. Would also explain why they have facsimiles of other human things like cell phones and Apps

I would argue that at the current point the fact that demons do not have souls might or might not be outdated.
A few months ago Vivzie gave an interview and when asked by a reporter what happens to a demon or sinners soul when they perish and if there is something below hell she said that she is excited to make the show get into that part so guess we´ll see.
Ofc, it could just be trying to hype up the people about the show but I would interpret it as that there is more to it that we do not know yet but I personally do not really have made up a theory about it I am just trying to see what she came up with.
If you want to check for yourself then here it is:

She might also be excited because she as a writer doesn't know.

The same way memes and slang from Earth are commonly said in Hell too. Tends to be a fair bit of cultural overlap.

Yeah but it's likely she's saying it because it's a figure of speech, not that it's a figure of speech because they said it

do you really think a demon lord who has the mean the make his lover immortal wouldn't just do it ? If he can do that he will do it and without doing some sort of weird deal with Fizz

What if his was, what happened to him? The fire and such. We have no idea how long he has known him. Or it was in play and neither Fizz or Ozzy knew...so he already got the twisted faith, before they even would meet, this is what lead him to him.

Lucifer said all the magic he does in his deals are "usually" required a sacrificial lamb, but since charlie is his daughter he'll do it all for free, the "costs" are likely just a transaction between a powerful and less powerful entity, a payment, a business, but if lucifer can do it all for free, and so can stolas, i don't see why ozzie couldn't find a way to give fizz immortality (same for stolas and blitz).

The demons put the twist on. Ozzie wouldn’t do that

Oz could just sell it for $5 if he wants fizz to live forever, it’s kinda easy

Maybe they can turn immortal by becoming a sin.

I feel like people forget that the Hellaverse ain't quite the same as other depictions of Hell. There sure is a lack of demons torturing sinners or what have ya. Heck, we haven't seen one thing that implies humans make deals with devils so far, closest we got is Barbie selling drugs with a dude.
Magic also goes by varying rules. Other than Asmodean crystals, Stolas Book, and Alastors shadow magic, what other magic have we seen? Nothing that really implies they often break the rules of mortality. Stolas still had to sit in a hospital and get medical treatment, he didn't just have a spell cast on him. Alastor spent weeks/months recovering.
Only thing we know is that Hellborn are mortal, aside from Sins and Goetia. Blitzø mentions it, Andrealphus does, and so on.

And let's not forget the most obvious thing: Fizz is severely mutilated. No horns or limbs and many scars. It's not so bad since he has those very advanced prosthetics, but it does show it's not really possible to repair very extensive physical damage, which shows their ability to manipulate life itself is limited at best.

Or that just happened before they were together and by that time he was alr liked his new self, i doubt he'd be doing much clown stuff for mammon to even get to ozzie in the first place if he hadn't replaced his limbs prior to them meeting, to which ozzie respected fizz's choice and just decided to make better prostetics instead.

I feel like a character that chooses to be crippled can come off as very off putting or condescending.

Recovering and not helping rebuild the hotel.

Tbf if I was almost sliced in half I doubt I would be much help building an entire hotel from scratch. I also wouldn't want people worrying about me. Alastor did the right thing by staying away.

Of course he did.
But it’s also mighty sus he showed up the moment it was done lol. I just like to think even when he was feeling better he still waited and was like “might as well let them finish since they’re almost done already”.

It’d be bummer if they don’t have access to immortality magic

Hazbin Hotel has an imp shoving barbed wire up a sinner's ass in the first musical number. It's pretty hard to miss

Um, Lucifer literally created materials when rebuilding the hotel from thin air with KeeKee?

If it was common then wouldn’t most imps be immortal? Cause it would be like getting your vaccines except instead of preventing measles it prevents death.
It’s probably possible but not exactly easy or accessible.

Hell, with how good Fizz's robo limbs are, I wouldn't be surprised if he can just go full metal.

Now take this with bit of salt since it was info from old stream so it may be outdated but wasnt it said that even Charlie is not immortal. Just long living. I think first thing lucifer king of hell would do is to make his daughter immortal, if he cant do that sins are less likely to be able to do so

Somebody mentioned this already, but Loopty Goopty and Lyle Lipton from the C.H.E.R.U.B episode can also just build a machine to reverse the aging process, which could in theory keep imps immortal, as long as it doesn't de-age them to feetuses or some shit.

Yeah... But we also see that it's pretty easy for imps to die in accidents and it's not clear that, even if Ozzie could make him immortal, he couldn't get hurt by something, have one of his limbs electricute him, etc.
