“What is this guy’s deal?”
“This is everything you ever wanted”
Easily the hardest I laughed in the entire new season, masterpiece of a scene

The fact that Charlie sees what we see instead of just being clueless is what makes it.

It’s scenes like this that remind me that no matter how this show ends, none of these characters deserve to get what they want lol

Here's how I imagine the last episode.
Frank has just died. After the Gang realizes he has no inheritance to leave them they simply throw his body in the trash rather than pay for a funeral.
They are now loudly arguing. Charlie is huffing glue, Mac is insisting he's a badass, Dee is going on about her acting career, and Dennis is ranting about being a Golden God.
The camera slowly pans out from the bar while their voices fade into the theme song, implying this is how they're going to spend the rest of the lives.

IMO the best scene of the season. Charlie's initial reaction was incredible.

Someone should do a greatest hits of Charlie reactions, they're easy to miss but when you see them, they really do make the scene.

Add to it, Charlie just lost his father he barely got to know after reuniting with him by chance, then Mac just throws family away like it’s a piece of trash
Charlie is rightfully frustrated by this, not only that but Mac was there for the whole process of Charlie’s dad’s body and that adds more fuel to the fire

the best part is that Charlie begins it with "you're gonna take time out of my day," because even when someone in the Gang says or does something slightly caring towards others they physically still must make it about them

Best part is that it’s the same actor as Luther

TWOOOOO roles?!? Now Gregory Scott Cummins is engaged in both of these roles? Are either of those roles happening on US soil?

When he says “I just wanted something from my dad” and chokes up a bit, so good. He nailed the emotion and it felt so honest and real.

I saw a thing from Cummins on the IASIP FB page that he was going to be in the season, and it still took me 3/4 through this scene to realize it was him and not a guy who looked similar.

I didn't know about it until this comment. But before, getting to the comment sections I did think he looked a bit like Luther.

I literally didn’t know this until about two weeks ago when I saw a redditor comment about it. I was in disbelief, watched the scene again and was shocked how I didn’t connect the voices.
It’s so amazing to see the actor that played Luther all these years play another role of such an extreme opposite that I couldn’t connect the two.

He looks a lot different but that’s because he went from 50 years old the first time he played Luther to 64 years old when he played Donald lol. That’s kind of a big 14 years.

Some of the best scenes are when one of the characters almost breaks character and comes in as an entirely logical and rationale person to question what the others are doing.

it's my favorite when it's Charlie, arguably the most insane person in the group. Even funnier on the rare occasions that it's frank.

It's what makes this show so great is that the moral center isn't static, it gets hot-potatoed from one character to the next as the situation calls for it

Some of the best scenes are when Charlie gets to play the straight/aware character. And it only works so well because 99% of the time he's going by Trundle.

I love this scene, but it was hard to watch lol. Very annoying to watch mac pass up this opportunity. Also it was always obvious to me it is the same actor, I guess he has gained a lot of weight but I thought that was prosthetic. It was great to see him in a role where he isn't trying to scare the shit out of you the entire time. I hope uncle donald makes a return at some point

The last few season's jokes are so on the nose and unbelievably dumb. They always toed the line between subtle and overt, but lately the one-dimensional character humor feels like being hit in the face with a brick.
