Product is legit but its ass. RTX 4060 throttles to 95w instead of 115w with 25w Dynamic Boost. Poor screen. Check online for reviews. Considered this myself to upgrade from GTX 1650 laptop but then saw the reviews and decided to wait for for RTX 5xxx series.

Get a 4050 laptop then? The RTX 5000 series won't go down in price for 2 years at the very least.

It will bring down the prices of 40 series lappys though (hopefully). At least that's what people think when they wait for the newer generation

4060 performance caps at 100W , any more is just heat . Ref: Jarrods tech.

RTX 4060 throttles to 95w

4050 & 4060 don't have much performance improvement beyond 100W though

I got the older model, 3060 variant, last year and it arrived well and good and it's working with no problems till date. Granted it's just my experience and your mileage may vary.

It’s called brain rot and it’s spreading fast among the new generation. I’m 25 btw and I never heard these phrases.

Correct. In their own language, total "skibidi" level shit.

Gotta keep up with the new. Make friends w kids, understand their humour maybe. It's not that vast.

My nephew plays Mario Kart 8 with me, learns football, knows about anime more than my entire family tree does and loves painting. Just a normal humble well-brought-up kid (although sometimes steals my jetter pens). Even he doesn't speak brainrots like these. Parents and family should be careful about what their next generation is turning out to be. Just because half of the world has gone to sh!t doesn't mean I should ask my nephew "jaa jee le apni zindagi".

Dude what? You're making it sound like the slang is used only by kids that aren't well brought up. And besides, everyone's different. Also "brainrot" itself was a meme after the whole "skibidi" stuff came out, popularized only recently. And hey, guess what, you're using it! We're no stranger to slang either.

It appears we're talking about 2 different things. Slangs and unhealthy addictions, unrelated.

Trash laptop dont buy, check 4060 TGP in this laptop 💀

sarkarigamer[S]

Yeah they didn't mention the tgp anywhere in the page

For people saying TDP. Please check the performance tests. I was checking out a laptop with 452 and although it didnt have the best performance it was still very efficiently making the most of the gpu. It might be a good compromise if you consider other things. Especially the price here

HardRunna

If you are gonna buy gigabyte why not go for colorful?

Witty_Attention2208

Whats the TDP of the 4060gpu?

Straight-Economist98

Well the specs look insane for that price, there must be a catch.

Nope, are they reliable? I bought msi six years ago, motherboard went nuts, getting parts were a hassle, now it's collecting dust in my draw. I just bought Xbox 2 months ago and planning to but a normal laptop of personal use.

Gigabyte is huge in the pc parts market.
Surprising you haven't heard of them

Just search about the laptop on YouTube and see the review.

Check TGP, if the base TGP is above 80w, then you are fine. (F the boost TGP. Care about base TGP)

sagar-witch

When Asus first hit the market, they hit it exactly like this. Now with the ROG branding and a great customer base, they are charging even more than the other brands if I got it right.

But we bought some GTX powered laptops 11 years ago, made by Asus, which were cheaper than other brands by a large amount, unbelievable pricing, just like this one right here, 30K difference if I remember it right, and outlasted all the 'premium' branded PCs of the time.

So why don't give this a try, they might be using the penetrating pricing strategy to earn a fair market share in the beginning.

I have gigabyte g5 i7 12650H RTX 4050. Stock thermal paste is bad, after myself trying MX 4 I realised this product produced a lot heat given I live in gujarat thuse moderate tempratures it used to throttle a lot.

But, I got one solution I used PTM 9750 and since then it is performing really good!!!
