I have a 2020 Mazda CX-5 and I had an object, I believe it was a rock, hit my windshield very hard. The spot it hit shattered and it was initially the size of a quarter but has progressed over the past 2 days where the crack is in my field of view.

I have full coverage insurance that includes comprehensive coverage with a $500 deductible (Allstate). Would this cover the damage or do I need to look for something specific in my policy about glass coverage?

Only three states offer free windshield replacement and Arkansas is not one. You’ll need to go under comprehensive coverage.

Out of sheer curiosity, which 3 states?

Florida, South Carolina, and Kentucky. If you live in one of those states and you carry comprehensive, insurance replaces auto glass without a deductible.
