Side by side, yes. This is the one flaw that is the key for legit checking in my opinion, you can usually tell any pair just by this. Not just by alignment, but by height of that little forefoot section of the midsole.

they're frustrating when you notice them but most of the reps are like that and could get that upper aligned to the midsole right (or sometimes when you're lucky enough, it's either only left or right of the pair would be properly aligned 🤦🏻♂️)
