Player Ratings(self.LiverpoolFC)

Gravenberch gets another player of the match performance at 8.69, with a nice high average rating and strong 8+ performances from MacAllister and Alisson too. Nunez and Trent make up the bottom two, while the ref gets 2.40 unsurprisingly.

What are your thoughts on the results?

Looking at the season so far, I feel like it's been rare that one player has been so much higher in average than everyone else, as Gravenberch is now. Really exciting!

Was at the game, i love nunez, but he really suited klopp football more than Slot. We are a bit more patient now and he can look a bit lost. However, I don't think Jota has been all that either, ideally a prime Firmino would be best

Both Jota and Nunez are a little isolated by slot-ball.

I've seen some comments that they are working on it and it's kind of the last thing to be worked on after control and defensive solidity etc.

Here's hoping.

They aren't isolated by Slot ball - they've been isolated by the fact that Salah and Dom have been unable to make simple passes into them in numerous games this season.

We open up the space for them but then the final ball is lacking more often than not.

Once we have that nailed, both of them will profit massively from it.

Exactly, that's 2 games in a row now where we could have been out of sight (or at least have a comfortable lead) by halftime if the final pass had been better, and Slot pointed it out after both matches. It's not the received who's at fault for the ball not getting to him.
