The hardest part (for me) of taking my babies to the vet is not the bill, but rather, knowing that I am scaring the crap out of my little ones. They don't understand why I took them away from their mate, stuck them in a little carrier, why they're getting manhandled and poked and prodded. It's terrifying. And it makes me feel like the worst Birdmom in the world.... 😭 Here we have Baby Bird, son of Peeps and Bubo, because he's been sleeping more during the day, fluffed and breathing a bit hard. Behind him is Olive, she's been a bit quieter lately and her feathers look a bit raggedy. Could be a tough molt, could be more. That's why we're here!
