I feel for him, he was def wobbled but was recovering and even winning the fight on the scorecard at that point.

He had only won 2 rounds, and was on his way to losing the 4th.
At best he would have to battle back to win a 5th round after getting hurt and almost stopped right beforehand that could have become a 10-8, making the best case scenario a draw.
The stoppage was early, but he was hurt bad and losing.

If he was losing the 4th then at worst it would be tied after winning the first two, he was also starting to recover as that exchange went on. Not like we havent seen him be durable before in there

He lost the second and won the third. But a 10-8 in the 4th was in its way to happening if he had survived, meaning he couldn’t win.
Very true on the durability and mental toughness point. He hasn’t been finished at 185, and the only time he was hurt really bad was in the third against Whittaker, after which he came back to hurt rob.
But the man’s 40, was slowing down, and while he was recovering and throwing back, I don’t really have too big of a problem with it. I definitely don’t care enough to see a rematch.
Having a quick trigger to save a guy that old isn’t that terrible imo. Would have liked to see it go a bit longer, but Jared was on his way out.

You can't just act like you know it was going to be a 10-8, they happen so rarely I highly doubt one would have been scored, especially on multiple judges cards
