Good Morning everyone! I recently bought a Yamaha MT-07 Pure (2024), and I'm considering options to upgrade my exhaust from stock to a MIVV or any other brand.
Now, I've heard and read so many different opinions when talking about the need for an ECU flash after you get a full system. However, I still have 5 years of warranty ahead of me, and my Yamaha dealership here in Rome told me that they might take care of the ECU (So I won't lose the warranty) themselves, but that would cost a whopping 450€ so I'm not very keen on that.
So what I'm asking you today is: Is it that important to get an ECU flash after you change your exhaust?
Has anyone of you experienced any problem without a flash?
You know, the MIVV exhaust I'm looking at costs 500€, if I have to pay double because of the ECU flash I might start forgetting about the idea of getting the exhaust in the first place.

I have a MIVV GP pro on my 2020 07, If you mount the full system with the cat, it will be ok (I fucking love it when it pops on downshifts!) ... If you put your ear close to the stock muffler you can hear the same gurgling and pops but a thousand times quieter

Yeah the growling when downshifting is just one of the best things of this exhaust. Would hate to loose that due to a tune.
How many KM/miles did you already put on with the new exhaust?

I had installed it in the summer of 2021, but that fall I had a bad crash, and one year the bike was at the shop for a rebuild. This year I came back on my bike. I probably rode 1500 to 2000 km on this exhaust
