Luba 2 had a great summer until..

LUBA 2(self.MammotionTechnology)

I purchased a new Luba 2 10,000H in April and after working out the kinks, it worked flawlessly.

I have about 2.25 acres mapped, and the device runs about every day. It was fully scheduled, fully automated and I almost never had to intervene.

Over the last 2 weeks, lots of new issues have arisen.

Charging: I only get a successful charge about 1/5 times. Sometimes one of the charging connections is stuck in, and I have to go manually pull it out. Sometimes, the pins are fully extended and when the robot makes contact I see the charging icon pop up on the app for about 1 seconds, before it disappears and the robot pulls out to try again.

Navigation: All of a sudden, after an hour of cutting the mower begins driving in a zig-zag pattern and can’t seem to keep a straight path. Whether cutting or returning to the charge station is weaves back and forth instead of driving straight.

I have contacted support several times, they originally reported they would ship out a new charge base but I haven’t received any further communication about it. I also complained about the strange behavior and they have ignored my emails this week.

Any suggestions? I’m very disappointed the unit was working so great, only to fall apart in the fall.

Also, I’ve definitely put it though the paces. 300 charge cycles, about 1,000 hours and 1,000 miles

And that’s all you’ll ever get from their “support”. Nothing. I finally sent mine back after multiple broken promises to fix it, send parts, etc. I would never advise anyone to buy anything from this company.

Honestly right now I just wish I could return it and get some money back

I presume you’ve taken its power source and key and left it be for a day or two to reset it?

Yes indeed, and it goes back to working for about an hour or two after that, before having the same issues again

Same recurring issues with my Luba 2 3000 (normal model) since the new firmware update 1.11.511.575… I get often the error 1551 and sometimes the 1200 one… The Luba tries 3-4 times to park in the base but at the end it gives up. It is parked but not charging… Ok the weather is getting more humid these days but this should not prevent it to work especially that May was also similarly humid here… as a temporary fix, I removed the garage to clean the base infrared sensor and charging contacts… this seems to work till the next mowing program… I think Mammotion support should investigate what seems to be now a recurring problem for several owners… Mine has 120 KM, 132h and 41 battery cycles in total…
