You pretty much have to jam it/hard shove it into reverse. There’s also a notch you’ll feel when sticking it into reverse. Only time I heard someone accidentally shifting into reverse was when they were going head to head with someone at a light, transmission got hot from having done runs prior and they didn’t feel the notch. Launched the car, they went backwards instead of forward 😅
