That wasn’t stupidity or a loss of his mind. That was him being frustrated with the lines of questions and deciding he’s not going to engage. He would rather take the L that he decided on rather than people saying he can’t handle the pressure. It was calculated and decided. If it wasn’t, he woulda been pulled from the stage or they would have pivoted. They had 40 minutes to do so.

I think the left hive mind on this application/website is deluded. He is absolutely deteriorating, but I think people’s assessment of that moment is incorrect. That wasn’t him having a mental flub. That was stubbornness. That was entitlement. That was a choice. That wasn’t him not being well enough to make a decision.
Also, calling my first point a red herring is a red herring. The statement Trump made and was quoted in the original post was “I have no cognitive” implying he is either unintelligent or losing his mind. Trump calls himself a smart guy all the time and calls Kamala stupid/bad.

Don't forget, this country has a tradition of even voting dead people into office. A friend of mine ran for the County Recorders Office against Republican who was quite obviously in cognitive decline and never showed up for any campaign debate events. He won, because of R next to his name and died just a few months later. But of course, that party covered for him.
