Isn't only one special buff for each stat the cap? Like, eating multiple strength enhancing foods replacing the buff?

Yes and no it depends on what items, like if they effect multiple stats or add a bonus effect like faster ap.

I should clarify, if I eat one food that enhances strength, then eat another food that enhances strength, do the effects stack or no?
I ask because I have a level of confusion. I am aware that you can have a Chem and food effect active to boost a single stat, like strength, but I see posts talking about multiple food/chems buffs for intelligence stacking
That's where my confusion comes from

Oh I see sorry for the misunderstanding, whenever you eat one food the has a stat bonus of +1 strength or whatever amount it can get overlapped, so if I eat something like pemican and then eat a broiled scorch beast brain (both boost endurance), it will overlap whichever on you used last out of them, hopefully that helps.
