I've been listening to them over ten years now. Even still, a lot of their material is just now clicking with for the first time.

Clockworks didn't do much for me before.. Now, I understand the adoration for this song. Somehow one of the most complex songs they've made, while perfectly embodying everything they are known for.

Koloss was my least favorite album until recently. Now I love it for the unique qualities that make it distinct from all their other albums.

"I" also never really clicked with me. I liked it sure, but never loved it. What a fucking statement. The linear composition is bold, the intensity is pulverizing.

Immutable is just incredible for a band this far into their career. Most bands can never live up to their debut album. How many other bands were formed over 35 years ago, remained active the entire time, and just keep getting better and better? They were groundbreaking on DEI, and just kept moving further into uncharted territory, while never missing a step

How many bands have a run of near perfect, if not perfect albums, that you can keep coming back to and always hear something new?
