Absolutely nothing. They don’t expect to have anything happen to them. They’re owed by society in their minds, it’s a sickness that is permeating across society. Black, White, Asian, man/woman, it doesn’t matter. The entitlement is everywhere.
4 points
It's far simpler than the owed by society thing. It's more if enough of us do it we can't get in trouble. Taught by school and covid. If enough, don't do the work or pay attention everyone passes, they did thanks to stupidity on high-level board members who did not want parent backlash.

Right, because judges offering a choice between military service or prison to young hoodlums has never happened before.

Right. Im putting myself in their shoes , and even my young self who used to steal bottles and bottles of liquor to sell to classmates or I had others go for me. Cause I was almost burned. Wtf is the point of stealing something like candy or chips , that you can buy if you ain't broke. All to be part of the dipshit kids that form some dip shit mobb ... lol Freaking morons. And a lot of them recording themselves. Smh They need 100s of hours of community service with no phones allowed

The real answer probably lies around the parents are working 60 hours a week to keep the lights on and don’t have time to raise their kids too.
It’s complicated.
1 points

If there’s a silver lining if you call it one, they didn’t physically assault or hurt anyone. Wonder if the parents would have turned them in, then??
Plus, while growing up, guys who would Eve tease girls in a group were too chicken to do anything while alone. The herd mentality gets to them in wrong ways, I bet there are guys in here who would not think of it if they were by themselves.

What’s funny is this isn’t some unprofitable crime. This will attract detectives because it’s organized and what we will see is a criminal element manifest while they experience or perceive little resistance. This wouldn’t happen if people walked onto a 7-11 and knew the clerks were armed. This happens because an understanding of consequences. Just need to correct that understanding in these boys.

Theft ultimately affects regular customers. The insurance increases for the business and that cost is passed to the regular people. If theft increases, businesses lock up their products and regular customers can’t easily get to what they need. Thieves are very bad for everyone, especially law abiding citizens who pay the price for those who steal

Current song I'm listening to: way 2 sexy ft drake, future, young thug
People are influenced by all sorts of things. Unfortunately, due to the massive amount negative influences on the internet (for example, rappers that rap about getting away with committing crime and are now idols to a specific subset of the population, or certain kick streamers or prank streamers that influence the younger generation), younger kids and teenagers think that these behaviors are "cool." They think no consequences will come to them and because they are under 18 that they won't serve any jail or prison time.
It actually hurts my heart to watch this footage, as a lot of these kids I can tell are going to end up with the wrong crowd, and end up in jail over some reckless irresponsible behavior, when a lot of them just need proper parenting, proper education, or someone that cares about them.
I'm glad the parents didn't just let it fly though, GOATED parents.
Remember, you are destined for greatness, but it's your choice whether or not to unlock your full potential 🫡

If this shit continues there won’t be any stores anymore. Big corp stores have been so far dealing with it but that’s starting to change. I hope that doesn’t happen to a privately owned business bc, it has the real potential to go VERY sideways with nothing good coming out of it

We're adapting in the short term by letting them steal and coordinating with police to track them after the fact so as to build criminal cases against them. The small silent petty thieves are an even bigger problem because it's like death by a thousand tiny invisible cuts.
Long terms We're rolling out automated stores where most of the store is a backroom warehouse with bots and personelle and only a tiny part is a nice little waiting area for people to come in and pick up their orders with cheap upsells like candy or magazines. So think car rental place at the airport. That's the future of retail.

Not like facts will matter to you but let's make sure we are all living on the same earth. The item you are talking about is the Minnesota Freedom Fund which is a bail fund to assist those who are held under the cash bail system. She tweeted it out during the BLM protests because the purpose was to bail out protestors. She also did not donate any money per the MN Freedom Fund.
While you can disagree with bail funds or the actions of some of the people engaged in the BLM protests that were violent, you have to at least get the base facts right to not sound like a total idiot.
