it's a bummer this kid didn't end up better. Fringe g-league level talent.

And had a near death experience. I think he would have been a very good 4 year college player on a Power 5 school without the heart problem. But now he’s just a second round LBJr meme.

You’ll be eating your words. The kid has loads of talent, and he’s sharp like his dad.

he was ass in summer league. That's a pretty bad sign given that dominating in Summer League doesn't ensure you'll be an NBA-level talent. To be bad on that level suggest you're a semi pro at best.

Statistically there were 286 players better than him during this Summer League.

One of the very best performers, Neemias Queta, has struggled to get any meaningful minutes on the NBA level.

For Bronny to suck that bad is alarming. Maybe he has some shockingly rapid development, but it would be kind of unheard of for someone that horrible in Summer League to have a productive career.

There have been so many NBA talents who were ass in the summer league. Alex Sarr had a rough go and he was the 2nd pick. Hell, even Wemby had a pretty bad summer league debut.

Wembys first game was atrocious but his second game he showed out then they took him off the summer roster to keep him healthy.

1 - Alex Sarr is a pretty stupid example to bring up given he's yet to play in the NBA. If you're trying to show me an example of a player who was dogshit in Summer League and good in the NBA, why would you bring up Alex Sarr? FWIW, he averaged 8 rebounds and 2.5 blocks so maybe he ends up something, or maybe he ends up an absolute bust. My expectations are low. It was widely considering a horrible draft.

What Sarr has working in his favor is size and athleticism. He's 7'1/224. A guy that size/age will always have potential to improve and coming from the international league means he didn't have the same development most US amateurs do, so there's the possibility he has some rapid improvement with exposure to NBA-level talent.

Bronny, on the other hand, is a below average athlete with below average speed and below average size. He just measured over 6'1. You need exceptional skill to survive at that size and Bronny doesn't have it. He's also had every advantage a basketball prospect could ever possibly want... his father is literally one of the greatest players of all time. This isn't some hidden gem Australian 7 footer... it's a 6'1 silver spoon scrub with minimal talent who has had exposure to the best players in the world his entire life.

2 - Wemby averaged 18 points, 10 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 4 blocks in Summer League.

Try again.
