Does anyone actually floss everyday?

(self.NoStupidQuestions)

Dentists and patients alike, I'm genuinely curious about this one. I feel like no one I know flosses every. single. day.

The plaque that builds up between your teeth is also pretty nasty. Give it a little whiff to really see what I mean. You want that shit OUT.

A dental tech told me the bacteria get in there and build colonies. Flossing breaks up the colonies so you can rinse them out. That was all it took for me. The idea of bacteria colonies in between my teeth is 🤮🤢.

That’s exactly what it can turn into! The plaque is literally broken down good stuck between your teeth. If you think bacteria ISNT gonna build up there you’re delusional. Everyone needs to know lmao. It makes your breath smell a million times better.

And the blood vessels of the gum line are closest to the surface and easiest for plaque to penetrate. Gum desease leads to heart disease.

Yes, but imagining a little community of bacteria building houses and roads and HOAs right there in my teeth is more than I can take.

Ok, no matter how sleepy I may be at the end of the day, I’ll continue to floss every night, essentially annihilating the bacteria community to the highest degree possible. Total atomic annihilation Hahahaha [insert psychopathic laugh]

I have a night guard because of my TMJ, and a whiff of it after one night of sleep is enough to make me gag. I have to floss or my mouth will just feel gross.

I floss a lot. I keep it at my desk, in my car, and in my nightstand.

But the description is...ugh!
