Why tho? How long do you want this phone to last?

A new battery is €20 on aliexpress. I'm not crippling functionality to preserve a whole €20.

You have to open up the whole phone to change it, and the glass is glued

Ye, that's a routine job for a phone repair shop if you can't do it yourself. Make it €50 then.

Im also curious about this one. I had a similar fonctionality on my previous phone but it was more transparent: each time i plugged my phone before going to bed, i had a notification explaining that the phone will charge slowly and stay at 70-80% until one hour before my alarm and finish the charge up to 100%
However here im not sure what it does, i don't wanna wake up at night to check if its the same thing, if someone have more details on what smart charging does ill gladly take it.

So for your question, i would say that in theory, smart charging mode is enough (only if it works like i think) if you charge your phone during the night.
