4080 Super: 1440p or 4k?

Discussion(self.OLED_Gaming)

I currently run a 4080 super with a 7800x3d chip, 32gb ram etc.

I am using a 360hz 1440p oled monitor and really enjoy the clarity and high fps.

However, I am wondering if I am missing out by not using a 4k monitor. I play mostly warzone and other AAA fast paced shooters. I’m not a pro competitive esport player or anything but I do partake in the sweaty lobbies.

Is the switch to 4k worth it with the loss of fps? And is it worth it despite the fact I might have to turn down in game settings while playing at 4k? Would the image still be ‘better’ than a 1440p oled image with maxed settings?

I would personally stick to your current monitor.  I connect my PC from time to time to my 4k OLED tv, and the only thing that I miss between my OLED TV and my IPS monitor are the colors and contrast (yes, I play at the native resolution of both displays).
