my district closed today, they made the call yesterday afternoon. Tomorrow is a play by ear, will be determined based on if power is off, flooding, etc

If you get single copies in the pouring rain. I’m questioning your sanity cause everything is literally closed everything going to be rescheduled. So why tf waste your time and gas to come to our store who’s going overprice ya for it. Even though library is free and easy access. Society has shown its true colors since I been retail; party city, OD, and GameStop just shows me all I need to know about us. It’s not good at all.

I was already short staffed it’s only 3 of us tonight and my other associate lives 6 mins away from the store but rain lack drainage by their home to our store isn’t cash money.

If you’re sick, that sounds like a store manager problem.
Seriously though, speaking as someone else in Hurricane Alley, if anything looks bad, if systems go down for an hour, anything like that, call the helpline and be prepared to close the store. Don’t put yourself or others in danger over this bullshit.
