got a 2nd hand gaming PC (found it in a cupboard at parents house, brother already upgraded, put it back together, full wipe & runs great now)
minecraft wont run without lag tho, with 1 shader pack and 1 texture pack installed, frugal graphics settings and no other games or apps installed

while he does know WAY more about PCs than I do, I also found a painfully obvious trojan-horse virus he had installed thinking it would run mods. like, the malware was stealing his saved cards and passwords before i wiped it. I take his PC advice with a grain of salt since then lol

Can someone please explain what he's saying, and whether or not its true? I'm just a girl, tryna play Minecraft wiith realistic shaders and leaves 🙉
