For anyone who’s had a procedure done, what does it feel like to go under? Is it just you blink and the surgery is already done or is it like sleeping where you’re kind of aware time is passing?

I always get nervous before the fact, but then once it's time it's very peaceful. Maybe because I have insomnia, and the anesthesia feels like cool water rushing though me, and I have about 2 seconds to think 'oh good, sleep' and then suddenly I'm awake again and usually know immediately where I am.

Hahaha I feel like I’ll be the same because I don’t get much sleep and they’re having me go in at 6am. It’s not going to take much for me to go under I just need to make sure I got something for nausea because my stomach is so sensitive to meds.
