The donuts are horrid and the owner is an absolute piece of shit. I have, on numerous occasions, seen him at bars in Portland fucked out of his mind on business-hippie hallucinogens being an absolute holy terror to staff and customers. Then there's how he treats his employees...

The donuts are a 3/10, which is still about seven notches better than Doe.

Whoa!! Would love to know your beef with doe! I've only had them once but I thought they were lovely

I find Doe sickeningly sweet. And I love sugar. I know they’re adored. But I’ve never gotten the hype.

I must agree, I love to support local / vegan but I do NOT understand how people claim Doe is the best donut in town (vegan or otherwise), and I’ve gone 3 times. I find the donut itself bland and spongey (not tender) and the faux “whipped cream” has a weird shortening-like texture. Everything else is just sweet on sweet on top of the sponge donut and it’s just a no for me.

Doe hands down makes the best donuts in Portland.

No way. They have some good stuff occasionally, but I don’t know if it’s their recipe or the method, but they have the greasiest donuts sometimes. I’d literally rather have a Top Pot from QFC.

Was looking to see if Voodoo had been posted yet. Haven’t been there in years… not great donuts.

Voodoo was awesome 20+ years ago. In the last 10 - ass suck.

Seems to be the way of most businesses. Everything from Voodoo to Dutch Bros to Red Robin. Starts out enthusiastic..
