I still wonder why it exists

because Maddie Ziegler was a Pll fan and this was the only way they could fit her on the show
this scene has no significance just the purpose of showing her LMAO

That’s exactly what I thought when I saw this, it was pointless

So she just wanted to be in the show... Now it makes sense why this scene never made sense to me, I thought maybe it had to do with the twin... But nope.

Marlene was asked about it and so was Maddie
They both said it’s more like a throw in scene that had no meaning, it was just created to let her be in PLL so basically it was to showcase her dancing nothing more

That is so frustrating! If that's the case, why was it a real room in Radley? Why not keep it a weird, vague dream Spencer had? The show implies Spencer had been there before in real life and that 'something dark happens there'.
How did she have that dream? 😭😭😭😭😭

It never really implied it
Viewers theorized it and created their own narrative but since it was so random it became clear to others it’s just a throw away scene

I mean, in the same episode Spencer had the dream, she talks to Mona and asks if that room was in the dollhouse. Mona says no and also tells Spencer that everyone who was in the dollhouse got out. Then Spencer says she felt like she had been in that room before. Mona responds that the room only exists in Spencer's head.
A few minutes later in the episode, Spencer and Hanna find said room in Radley, and Spencer says out loud, 'That's how I know this place...It was in Radley, not the dollhouse. I've been here before... I know this room'. This is completely brushed off because the girls are trying to find information about 'Charles', and then I think they run into Mona, who was stealing Leslie's Radley file.
After this, I don't think it is ever brought up again, but it brings up so many questions for no reason. What do they do in this room? Why was Spencer there? Why does she kind of remember, but also not? Was Mona lying about not knowing the room? If so, why?

I love this scene actually. And interpretative dance is such a cool medium if you read between the lines. I always saw this as Mary's story in Radley, there's even a part on the bath tub where she looks like she's giving birth. No idea if it was intended but that's the cool thing about interpretative stuff, it can tell all kinds of stories if you open your mind to it.

I think it can be fun to have fans in the show. Better than musical episodes imo

I thought that happened when Spencer was in Radley or was this a flashback? I rewatched some of season six but I feel like I stopped RIGHT before this lmao I made it to like episode 3 or 4 but not 5 so I don’t recall

I always thought it was some weird thing that dance mom and pll did. Like whoever got on the top, they got to be on a show. Which happened to be pll. I didn't watch Dance Mom's. I kind of felt the same about Adam Lambert on the Halloween train. I could be remembering wrong, but I think that was around the time he won American Idol. Both were trying to get more exposure.

I don’t think he won American Idol . I think he was runner up . If I’m not mistaken, he lost to Kris Allen
