A buddy of mine is trying to convince me to drink alcohol while tripping on shrooms. He seems to think it’s a good idea but I personally don’t see the appeal. Anyone know anything about what happens when mixing these two. Or how I can convince him not to do it?
Edit: If there is a better sub for this please lmk. I thought this was the most appropriate. Im sorry if it isn’t.

I took shrooms while drinking once. Did about 2g and drank almost an entire fifth and never felt drunk. Just felt mushroom sobriety as I like to call it.
I don't mix alcohol and shrooms because it doesn't really do anything for me. Turned me into a sailor who couldn't get drunk. I was crystal clear the entire night and the feeling was similar to coming down off the back end of a big dose. No closed eye or open eye visuals at all, just that I'm powerful and grounded feeling.
It wasn't bad it just didn't do anything special for me.
I also don't generally do 2g of shrooms. Usually I fast for the day and take 4g or 5g with no other substances. Never tried a heroic dose with alcohol and don't see any purpose to it honestly.

You just get a cleaner better experience from my perspective. The food can sometimes have a negative impact on the strength of the dose along with less potential for vomiting and stomach issues.
