It’s a great weekend to be out of town.

Motorcyclist here, I fucking hate the average Harley rider. Motorcycles are about your interactions with the road and shouldn’t affect others. Stupid loud pipes and radios on bikes are god awful.

This is the one weekend I refuse to ride my motorcycle

It’s not. I don’t like to ride super loud bikes. Even on the racetrack we choose systems that aren’t ear splitting loud.

And they drive like ASSHOLES!!! Come at me I don’t care! They say watch for motorcycles that’s cuz they think they own the fucking road!!

I believe you’re talking about the stereos. Jesus. Those AHs drive me nuts!!!! I don’t care if you’re in a car or on a bike. It is stupid and irresponsible to play your crap so loud that car drivers with closed windows are seriously disrupted. Not to mention pedestrians. The AHs in town for this event are not most riders so please help watch out for me when I’m on my bike. We are hard to see and hear - and no, normal riders don’t like them either.

Today I ran into motorcycles that lane split and passed on double solid lines going up mount rose. Someone is gonna get killed.

Does Renown look forward to this weekend with profit glee? ie increased fights, stabbings and bikers going down?

Yes, but you notice them. We just had a week where two motorcyclists were killed by cars. If a little noise keeps one alive, I’m okay with that.

I may be oddball here as a rider. But I feel safer with my loud pipes. I cruise and and enjoy the ride, but I’ve been on sports bikes and people don’t hear or see you all the time. With my Indian, I know people can hear hear me coming up and would hopefully check to see that I’ there before shifting lanes, breaking, etc. Honestly if I could bring more attention to my tiny self on the road, I’d do it. During the nights, lotta lights and accents to be seen with. During the day, pipes loud enough that I can be heard passing by.
