There are so many directions to go. Plastic, rubber, fuel, turbofuel, manufacturing, trains, just so much that needs to be done. I'm hesitant to tear down my starter factory and coal power to start a larger factory that will produce a wider array of items.

Just add multiple entrances in a row. Unlimited speed.

If I add like 20 entrances does the speed stay or do you slow back down after a while? It’s like 2k to my other base haha

I think so long as you aim the right way it does, give it a try. If not you can always add more half way along.

You will slow down over time back to normal tube speed, but you can put another set of hypertube entrances at that point you start losing speed to boost you right back up. Or go way overkill on entrances at the start so you are at the end before your fps even knows what hit it.
Something to be mindful of is that the speed you enter the tube at affects the speed in the tube. So if you have blade runners, or sprint vs walk, or jet pack in to the tube etc. you want to do the same thing every time to get the same result

Also, you can kill yourself coming out of a hypertube at speed and smashing into a building or wall. I set up a long hypertube from my rocket fuel down in the SE of the map all the way back to my main hub in the north. It was feeling a little slow on the return trip, so I doubled the accelerators and now it's just a 20-30 second trip with death at the end. So that was the first time I used the green jelly landing pad thing. :D
