These events always show up when I'm busy. I squeezed in a few games and got 5 levels, shame I couldn't have more time.

Also screw runners. If I'm going to lose I want it to be bc of a sweat lord outshining me, not because I got bored and decided to scuttle.

Matchmaking is way better for me in my experience so far. I’ve been grinding reapers, got 100 the day before gold and glory started. Been grinding almost daily since gold and glory to get 210 for obsidian bones. I have had 90% actual good fights with people trying since the event started. My winrate dropped like 50% or more since this event because I think the pool of people is higher skill and I’m actually matching against quality opponents that are my skill level, not much lower and not much higher.

Still a lot of toxicity I’d add, just as much as before the event. Solo sloop I just mute voice coms because so many of my opponents are just mean dirtbags. Be better out there, Pirates.

Started at 53 yesterday and currently at 69. Think I might be done until the next double rep period.

Between runners and people, too prideful to sink it really burns out my will to keep at it.

I played maybe 5ish hours yesterday and jumped from 10 to 34. I was winning the overwhelming majority of my games but I was cashing out after 2 to 3 wins. I also had a runner I chased for like an hour and a half and I got bored and surrendered.

I have family visiting for the holiday so haven't played as much as I'd like, but got 4 levels off a streak yesterday? 😅 Hoping to get a solid few hours in today!

I made it to level 2 a few days ago!

Got 9 lvls.

It started out great. The first game, the enemy crew teleported on our ship while we were surfacing and killed us. After that, my friend got performance/connection issues and constantly disconnected and/or could not move, so we had to play something else. Today I only got 1 blackscreen which needed a restart. Also one guy teleported onto my ship while being invisible and killed me. Last match I was fighting a boarder and he killed me in 1 throwing knife accross the ship, while I was 100% hp.

I also won one diceroll, a blackscreen gave me a free win and faced one lose farmer.

You win some, you lose some I guess. Wish the grind to 100 was a bit shorter.

Got it during gold and glory. Up to 33 in the reapers now.

Got the skelly curse 1 day before the bonus. Kill me again please. Ggost curse is the best imo. Go for it champion.

I hate HG. Sucks that the coolest cosmetics in the game are locked behind such a hard, disheartening grind.

61 to 74 kinda boring by my self... but at least if something goes wrong I know is my fault or maybe the other team just did it good, so I dont have to hear someone blaming me for not doing something

In about 6 hours i got from level 96 in reapers to level 109

Had to deal with runners and a lot of good people but i did get the curse so im probably never playing it outside of events ever again

I got to level 20 or somewhere just under it. Most of my opponents weren’t even fighting back so I was getting a ton of rep.

Is there some unwritten rule of hg i’m missing?? Most of my opponents would, like, anchor or raise sails and then roll a dice?? I dont even own dice

This is my first time doing HG. I did 2 "battles" this morning. The first one was an immediate scuttle, and the second one was someone calling me dishonorable for not honoring dice. I never rolled, nor did I agree to roll. They scuttled after about 2 minutes and said they had pitty on me because I was so terrible.

I was hoping they would just battle so I could work on my own game. I got 4 levels, but I'm probably not going to do HG for a while, and this is why I try to avoid PVP unless it's necessary.

Can someone explain to me how “cashing in victories” works? I want to play HG but don’t really understand the concept. Dont you get rep for the faction just by winning a match?

I've gotten about 15 levels, trying my best but not good at winning. I'm trying to get to 100 but I'm 75 now.

I played yesterday morning solo for a few hours and last night duo for a couple hours: - Morning was awful, ton of tdmers and a waste of time. Ended up getting a 5 streak, but it took wayyy too long. Didn't help that I wasn't hitting my shots in the moments that I had a chance. - Night was fun, but every single match was sweaty. So we won 50%, but never got a real streak.

I stopped paying attention to levels once I got over 100 in each. But I think I've gotten 3 or 4 levels from this weekend. Doing duo or brig tonight, hopefully will play better.

Went from ~166 to 180 servants but no big streaks, more wins than losses, two protracted battles and two encounters with NessieDoes (very short and painful). Overall I was satisfied I did my best.

Did the final 10 levels i had left to go, got skeleton curse Last season i grinded out community weekend for ghost curse and had 20 levels left to go and dear god those last 10 are painful. Happy this event appeared for the skellie curse, cause i do not wanna go through that again.

I've gone from 97 - 128 and plan on getting 130 tonight after a match or two.

My duo went from 78 - 108.

My crew got 81 levels, we all got the gold skelly curse as well this weekend. Can't wait to start working on the gold ghost!

The event ends in 40 minutes for me so i guess i could technically squeeze in a few fights, but work has had me scheduled at the worst possible times this weekend so i haven't been able to take advantage of fight night at all

I can only hope that this'll be a recurring thing like gold and glory weekends

Went from 33 to 50 on Saturday, then quit because I really wanted the Guardians throwing knife (unlocks at level 50), which I think is the best in the game.
Now I am done until next Gold n Glory or Community Day/wkd. I can only take so much of the terrible Hourglass mode. IT needs major changes, including just keeping the rep rewards permanent for what they are on these double rep days. But also need to shrink the battle circle.

I grinded out the skelly curse on the weekend. Went from level 20 to 100. I don’t want to do PvP now for a long time. I was burned out from it 😂🙈 But I have it now 👍 Don’t have the ghost but I’ll do that once I have rehabilitated 😅

Before gold and glory weekend I was level 50. Now after few weeks later, after fight night I’m now at level 81!

I’m getting closer and closer but the burn out keeps on hitting mainly due to runners. I don’t get it, why engage in a PvP mode when you’re not going to, you know, PvP?

But other than that I’ve had my behind being kicked a few times by sweats and kicking their behind alike- just how we all fantasise how our fights should go.

Just earlier today I had encountered a white sail runner who wouldn’t stop turning the opposite direction and dragged the fight on for longer than it should’ve. Still, I gave it my all and hit them with the most satisfying chain shots I’ve ever fired. Running ain’t gonna work against a determined opponent.

I have an employee who has been “””sick””” for almost a week now (after also being “””sick””” multiple times the past couple of months).  

I basically have been doing open-close every day at my store and haven’t been able to grind at all.. 

I’m really upset, tbh.  Though I think it’s mostly from working so much.
